This wall vase was made in the southern part of modern-day Awaji Island and the Sanuki region of Japan. Renowned for its colorful and vibrant hues, the vase features unique tones created using lead-based glazes in the past. Since the use of lead-containing glazes is now prohibited, such colors can no longer be replicated, making this piece extraordinarily rare and valuable.
