This story is a picture book featuring Max, a poet and millionaire dog, as the protagonist. Upon arriving in Paris, the city of lights and dreams, Max becomes the center of attention. He encounters a host of colorful characters, including Fritz, the concierge of the luxury hotel Ritz; Madame Camembert, a cheese artisan; Charlotte Russe, a dessert specialist; and Pierre Potpourri, a nightclub owner. Pierre is eager to feature Max as a performer at his nightclub, The Crazy Wolf.
Amid the charm and splendor of springtime in Paris, Max feels something is missing—romance. Already in possession of immense wealth, Max embarks on a journey to find love, set against the backdrop of the enchanting city.
